Her name is Axin (pronounced Ash-en). And she gives Avery pretty much anything she wants. Avery likes the Minnie toy in Axin's car, well, she can have it. Avery wants more frosting, no problem. Avery wants to pick flowers from a display that has guards all around it, that's fine. When I commented to Axin that she would give Avery anything she wanted, meaning that maybe she should NOT, she just said "I will! I love kids!" How could Avery not love her back?

It's nice to have a friend like that--it's the counterpoint to Mom. But that friend should be the grandma!
